Fae Rose Kobernik (they/them)
Hello! My name is Fae Rose (they/them). I offer warm, collaborative, affirming therapy rooted in humanistic values, social justice, and a deep belief in your inner wisdom. My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and grounded in trust, connection, and care. We move at your pace, and I center your voice every step of the way.
I work primarily with LGBTQ+ teens, young adults, and adults navigating identity, transitions, chronic illness, and disability. I also provide play-based therapy and support for children and families across the lifespan. Modalities include mindfulness, somatic work, harm reduction, arts-based approaches, ACT, CBT, and DBT.
With a theatre and arts background, I bring a creative spirit and a sense of play to my work. I believe therapy can be joyful and expressive—not just serious or heavy—and I love finding ways to make the process feel engaging, dynamic, and fun.
As a queer, non-binary, chronically ill, and disabled therapist, I bring lived experience to my work and strive to offer care that is representative, accessible, and deeply attuned. My practice draws from liberation psychology, disability justice, and anti-oppressive frameworks. I’m sex-positive, anti-racist, and committed to creating spaces where all of you are welcome, including the parts still taking shape.
I aim to create a space that feels safe and affirming while honoring the complexity of safety itself, especially within systems shaped by power and privilege. I hold those realities with care and welcome openness, honesty, and mutual learning in the therapy space.
It’s an honor to do this work, and I’d love to connect if I seem like the right fit for you.
