Hello everyone! My name is Meghan and I am passionate about working with women, queer/lesbian folks and other fellow members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I celebrate diverse identities and bodies in a truly safe space. In my work with individuals, I use aspects of internal family systems, ACT, DBT, and narrative modalities through a decolonized and anti-capitalist lens to help navigate feelings of anxiety, depression, and worthlessness. I also work with couples through an emotionally focused framework to foster secure attachment and better connection for lifetime of love. I want to take a new look at past traumas, insecurities, and uncertainties, in order to connect with yourself again. I believe that therapy is a collaboration between equals and you know yourself the best.
Decolonization and social justice is a pillar of my work and this practice. I believe that through insightful, therapeutic conversations we can accomplish anything! Everyone deserves someone to listen and be patient with them, and together we can explore opportunities for the myriad of parts of yourself to find acceptance and balance. I have also completed several ADHD/AuDHD trainings specifically for LGBTQIA+ folks to provide comprehensive care.
