Meghan Pfeiffer (she/her), MSW, LSW
Hello everyone! My name is Meghan and I am passionate about working with women, queer/lesbian folks and other fellow members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I celebrate diverse identities and bodies in a truly safe space. I use aspects of internal family systems, ACT, DBT, and narrative modalities through a decolonized lens to help navigate feelings of anxiety, depression, and worthlessness. I want to take a new look at past traumas, insecurities, and uncertainties, in order to connect with yourself again. I believe that therapy is a collaboration between two equals and you know yourself the best.
As a white, cisgender woman I absolutely recognize my privilege and will do everything to take into account the structural issues that affect different identities, and those effects on mental health issues in a person's life. Decolonizing therapy is a pillar of my work and this practice. I believe that through insightful, therapeutic conversations we can accomplish anything! Everyone deserves someone to listen and be patient with them, and together we can explore opportunities for the myriad of parts of yourself to find acceptance and balance. I have also completed several ADHD/AuDHD trainings specifically for LGBTQIA+ folks to provide comprehensive care
