Are you an Autistic, queer, BBIA adult with disabilities/chronic conditions and/or a member of other marginalized communities? Are you looking to understand yourself and better know your values so you can build a life where you can honor and celebrate every part of yourself?
Hi, I'm Cor, an Autistic, Queer, Trans, Creole, therapist with disabilities! Therapy with me is full of curiosity, communication, creativity, and connection. The therapeutic relationship is one where two human minds come together to make sense of one's experience of self, others and the world. We take a look at all the rules and expectations that have been forced upon us and create new ones tailored to your individual needs. Learning how to navigate the world with a customizable set of rules and expectations guides you down an empowering path where we befriend and embrace all the parts of ourselves.
Other than my natural curiosity and desire to know everything about you (no pressure), I primarily take a relational, person-centered, transformative social justice approach, influenced by internal family systems/parts work, self psychology, somatic practice, and often implement modified/neurodivergent informed DBT and ACT skills.
