Earning Potential

Gross projections are based on 25 clients a week for 49 weeks a year, paid out at an hourly rate:

  • LCSW/LCPC= $67,375 - $79,625

  • PhD/PsyD= $91,875 - $104,125

Required Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Doctorate in Psychology

  • Provisionally or Fully Licensed (LSW/LCSW or LPC/LCPC) in Illinois

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a community mental health setting or other relevant employment

  • Caseload minimums of 25 sessions per week

  • Experience working with historically marginalized and underserved communities

  • A commitment to culturally responsive, anti-oppressive, and identity-affirming care

  • Comfort having conversations about culture, identity, power, privilege, and systemic barriers

  • Valuing lived experience, community involvement, language, and other perspectives that can strengthen clinical work
