Esther DeCamps (she/her)
In addition to her role as the Operations Manager, Esther is a Clinical Intern at Little Seed Wellness while pursuing her Master of Social Work at Northeastern Illinois University. She welcomes and affirms neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, sex/kink, polyamorous, fat, and sex worker identities. She is particularly passionate about supporting BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, immigrant, and caregiving communities, helping clients navigate the intersections of identity, oppression, and healing. Her approach is trauma-informed, guided by Health at Every Size (HAES) principles, and rooted in radical self-acceptance, creating a space where clients can feel fully seen and supported.
As a first-generation Dominican American and a mother, Esther integrates a social justice lens, emphasizing relational and culturally responsive care. Committed to breaking cycles of generational trauma and helping clients cultivate resilience, joy, and self-acceptance, She believes healing unfolds within supportive relationships and works to create an environment where clients feel safe to bring their whole selves into the room. She understands that living in an individualistic society can limit access to adequate care and recognizes that true decolonization involves reclaiming collective ways of healing and connection.
